A step up in distance proved just what this daughter of Champion 3YO Dundeel as looking for at Ballarat on Thursday.

Dunlani as a yearlingPrepared by Matt Cumani, three year-old filly Dunlani was a hot favourite for the 1600 metre maiden and overcame an outside gate to run away and win by two lengths at her fourth start.

A $100,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Attunga Stud draft for Rolsworth Pty Ltd, Dunlani is the fourth winner from Teralani, a full sister to Champion 3YO Filly Private Steer and half-sister to dual Group I winner All Silent.

She is the eighth winner this season for High Chaparral’s champion son Dundeel, who stands at Arrowfield Stud at a fee of $27,500.
