New Stakes-Winner for Artie Schiller

Tara Madgwick - Monday August 14
Dream Ahead was not the only Aquis Farm shuttler to taste stakes success in the Northern Hemisphere last weekend with Artie Schiller (USA) also in the frame with unbeaten juvenile Artie B Good, winner of the $55,225 Jess Jackson Juvenile Stakes at Santa Rosa.

Artie SchillerTrained by William Morey, Artie B Good made it two wins in as many starts when scoring a length victory in the six furlong sprint as favourite.

Artie B Good is certainly bred to be above average as a three-quarter brother-in-blood to Artie Schiller's US Group I winning juvenile My Conquestadory, winner of the Group I Keeneland Alcibiades Stakes.

Artie B Good is the 37th stakes-winner for Artie Schiller, who was in great form last season in Australia with Group I VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Flying Artie, Group III winner Good Standing and stakes-winner Dornier all tasting big race success.

A quality son of influential sire El Prado, Artie Schiller looks well priced at $33,000 given his 66% winners to runners and 4.8% stakes-winners to runners.
