20 Winners for Charm spirit

Media Release - Friday October 5
The stocks of hot young first season sire Charm Spirit (Invincible Spirit) continued on an upward trajectory when True Hero became his sires 20th individual 2YO winner for the season in England this week.

Charm SpiritReminiscent of the determination shown by his sire, True Hero's unflinching performance comes hard on the heels of Kick On winning at Newmarket for Charm Spirit and the success of his daughter Epistrophy at Chantilly earlier this week.

Interestingly, Charm Spirit scored his maiden two-year-old victory at Longchamp over 1400m in September of his two-year-old season before placing third in the Gr.1 Longchamp Prix Jean-Luc Lagadere the following month.

At three, Charm Spirit won five of six starts finishing with a trio of Gr.1 wins over 1600m in which he beat not only his own age group peers but also older horses in Ascot's Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes.

The brilliant start made with his first-crop runners, that also includes recent English Group winner Yourtimeisnow, has positioned Charm Spirit among the leading division on the European First Season Sires list by both individual winners and prizemoney won.

Charm Spirit is Invincible Spirit's highest earning son and comes from the distinguished stallion producing family of champion Australian sires Encosta De Lago and Flying Spur.

He shuttles to Windsor Park Stud, Cambridge where he has commenced his fourth southern hemisphere breeding season.
