Tara Madgwick - Saturday September 22
Progressive staying mare Miss Admiration was twice placed in Group I Oaks races last season and the four year-old daughter of Sebring scored a well-deserved victory in the Group III ATC JRA Trophy at Rosehill on Saturday.

Miss Admiration returns to scaleForeman Patrick Kearney revealed Miss Admiration (images Steve Hart)  was a late nomination for the race after initially being programmed to race at Caulfield instead.

"She's come up to Sydney in a nine-horse field and she dominated," Kearney said.

"It was a great ride, perfect 10 out of 10 for what she needed to do - she was jumping up from 1600 metres to 2400 metres so she's come a long way and done a good job."

Miss Admiration is likely to stay in Sydney for the Group I ATC The Metropolitan at Randwick next Saturday.

A $210,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Glastonbury Farm draft and has won two of 16 starts earning nearly $290,000 in prizemoney.

The 48th stakes-winner for Sebring, Miss Admiration is the best of three winners from Admiring, a Group II placed Street Cry (IRE) half-sister to stakes-winner Empire Dancer.

Admiring has a yearling colt by Deep Field, but missed last season so has no foal this spring.
