One to Watch- Wins Again

Tara Madgwick - Friday September 21
Kris Lees has a crackerjack team of three year-olds this spring and Miss Fabulass is not the only talented filly in his stable by world champion Frankel.

FrankelA homebred for Bruce Neill's Cressfield, Frankely Awesome was a Breednet 'One to Watch' when scoring on debut at Newcastle at the start of the month and was even more impressive easy at her second start.

A short priced favourite in the 1600 metre Class Two event at Scone, she powered home down the straight to win running away by nearly two lengths showing herself to be a class above her rivals.

She is the first foal of stakes-winning Street Cry mare Street Secret (USA), who comes from the family of legendary champion racemare and blue hen Urban Sea, the dam of champion sires Galileo and Seat the Stars.

Cressfield sold Street Secret in foal to Snitzel at the 2017 Inglis Chairman's Sale for $680,000 to Paul Moroney Bloodstock on behalf of Sir Owen Glenn's Go Bloodstock. She produced a filly for them last spring and then missed to Criterion.

Frankel has some lovely three year-olds in Australia with Frankely Awesome his third winner this season joining Group II ATC Tea Rose Stakes winner Miss Fabulass and Farooq.
