Delago Deluxe Moving to Queensland

Redden Thoroughbreds is proud to announce they have acquired Delago Deluxe to stand at Telemon Thoroughbreds in Queensland for the 2018 breeding season.



A dual Group I winner and Champion 2YO in South Africa where he won the equivalent of the Golden Slipper and Newmarket Handicap, Delago Deluxe is a champion son of champion sire Encosta de Lago.

Delago DeluxeA $550,000 Magic Millions yearling bred in the purple at Baramul Stud, Delago Deluxe has been a head turner from day one.

Blessed with a powerful sprinters physique in the mould of Encosta de Lago's champion sire son Northern Meteor, Delago Deluxe also has a power packed female pedigree bristling with Group I winners and stakes performers.

A proven sire whose oldest progeny are now four year-olds, Delago Deluxe has sired some 36 winners headed by stakes-placed Casa de Lago and smart winners such as Scarecrow, Massagi and Deladies Boy.

Renowned for producing a lovely type of sales horse, his yearlings have sold for up to $250,000 and his first crop of yearlings averaged $169,000 at Magic Millions in 2016.

Delago Deluxe stands at a fee of $5,500.
