One to Watch – Goulburn

A homebred for Newhaven Park, this well related daughter of Delago Deluxe won on debut at Goulburn on Thursday to be our ‘One to Watch’.

Delago DeluxeWell educated at the trials by her trainer Edward O’Rourke, three year-old filly Swiss was a short priced favourite for the 1200 metre maiden

She settled worse than midfield and powered home along the inside to score a tenacious short neck win.

Swiss is a half-sister to Group place-getters Sugarparma and Collect and is the sixth winner from stakes-placed Sweet Ransom, a daughter of stakes-winner Rubitoff.

Swiss is the third winner this month for Delago Deluxe, whose promising son Scarecrow runs at Flemington on Saturday shooting for his fourth win from her past five starts.
