"Yourtimeisnow has got so much natural speed and at the moment we'll stick to six I would say. I was a bit worried about the ground before the race. She goes on it, but ideally wants some dig in the ground. Mentally and physically she's getting better and could be anything," said winning rider Andrea Atzeni.
A 120,000 guinea purchase for her trainer from the Tattersalls October Book One Sale, Yourtimeisnow runs for Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum and is a half-sister to two stakes-placed horses in Horse de Combat and Stroll Patrol from the good producer Maid for Winning.
Yourtimeisnow is one of 15 first crop winners for Charm Spirit, a triple Group I winning son of Invincible Spirit, that has made a positive impression at Australasian yearling sales this year with his first Southern Hemisphere bred yearlings.
Charm Spirit had 30 yearlings average $112,000 at Karaka Book 1 and also had four yearlings average $2616,250 at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
His yearlings sold for up to $400,000 with his top seller a filly from Lady Kipling sold by Windsor Park at Karaka and bought by Ciaron Maher / Waterford Bloodstock.
Charm Spirit stands for fee on application.
