City Treble Highlights Ambidexter Success

Media Release - Thursday August 30

A sire of winners, Ambidexter is quickly making a name for himself as one of the best value sires in Australia, proving successful on the track and in the sales ring.

AmbidexterWith 26 to race, his progeny have won 33 races so far, the most recent of those being a city treble on Saturday followed by another winner at Gawler yesterday.

The first of the impressive winners for Ambidexter was the Sue Jaensch trained Amberdi. Sent out as the $3.10 favourite, the mare duly saluted by just under a length in a competitive field.

Modulate pushed his winning streak to 3 in a row when he bested a quality field by half a length. After the race Richard Jolly revealed he has stakes goals for the gelding and will attempt to win the Listed Balaklava Cup next start.

The final winner for Ambidexter on Saturday was Dexelation. The bay gelding is a great advertisement for the stallion as he epitomises exactly what Ambidexter imbues into his offspring. A tough, ever improving racehorse that keeps stepping up in grade with wins. Dexelation won his 4th race in a row on Saturday and looks to have plenty more in store.

With such a great run lately, Ambidexter's book is filling up fast. Any breeder interested in using the attractive son of Commands should contact Cornerstone Stud soon to avoid disappointment.

Ambidexter is standing at Cornerstone Stud and offers breeders great value at a fee of $7,700 inc. GST.
