Promising three year-old Snitzel filly Deerupt opened her account at Turffontein in South Africa on Saturday.

Deerupt as a yearlingPlaced at three of her four previous starts and fourth in the Listed Greyville Devon Air Stakes, the Janse Van Vuuren trained filly was overdue for a win and scored a head victory over 1450 metres.

She was a $210,000 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale purchase for Heritage Bloodstock from the Blue Gum Farm draft and is the first winner for Ready on Time, a half-sister by More Than Ready (USA) to Group I winning stayer No Wine No Song.
