BOBS Stars of 2017/2018

Tara Madgwick - Monday August 6
The beginning of a new season means it's time to look back at what happened in the past 12 months for BOBS NSW eligible horses and while Snitzel was the top BOBS sire with 66 wins and BOBS earnings of $612,031 he did not sire a horse in the Top 10 BOBS earners.

Godolphin had two of the top three in Epidemic (pictured below, all images Steve Hart)  and Savatiano, the former ending the season with the imposing record of five wins from 10 starts and a stakes win on her resume following a successful raid on the Listed Helen Coughlan at the Sunshine Coast in June.

Dashing grey Foxwedge gelding Albumin struck a real purple patch of form through May, June and July reeling off successive Saturday wins that brought his overall prizemoney tally to date in excess of $340,000.

A $75,000 Inglis Premier purchase for his trainer, Albumin runs for a big group of owners headed by the Just Fun Racing Syndicate… how appropriate!
