15 Winners for No Nay Never

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 31
The leading European first crop sire by winners and earnings, Coolmore shuttler No Nay Never (USA) added a 15th winner to his tally overnight with a Lingfield victory for No Way Jose.

No Nay NeverTrained by Brian Meehan and ridden by William Buick, No Way Jose improved at her third outing to finish strongly and win the six furlong contest by a length and a quarter.

Bought for 50,000 guineas at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Sam Sangster Bloodstock, No Way Jose is a half-sister to Group III winner Above Average and Sent from Heaven being the ninth winner from terrific producer Crystal Valkyrie.

The two best turf sprinting sons of Scat Daddy, No Nay Never and Caravaggio, are set to visit Australia in the spring for Coolmore.

Priced at $19,250, No Nay Never is on his third trip to Australia with his first weanlings selling for up to $90,000 at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale.

A lightning fast dark grey powerhouse of a sprinter, Caravaggio starred at Royal Ascot two years running winning the Group II Coventry Stakes at two and then the Group I Commonwealth Cup at three. Caravaggio is priced at $33,000.

No Nay Never and Caravaggio are the only sons of the late great Scat Daddy (sire of US Triple Crown winner Justify) available to Australian breeders this spring.
