Shamrocker Filly Sells for $1 Million

A Deep Impact filly out of the Group 1 AJC Australian Derby and Group 1 VRC Australian Guineas heroine Shamrocker has been purchased by Hirotsugu Inokuma for 88 million yen ($A1,008,000) at the JRHA Select Foal Sale.

The filly is a sister to Satono Galore who has won one of three starts in Japan and a sister to the James Fanshawe-trained filly Deep Sea who finished fourth in a 10-f novice at Kempton last week.

A daughter of O'Reilly, Shamrocker is a sister to Group II Doomben Roses winner Bohemian Lily and a half-sister to Group 1 Auckland Cup winner Rock Diiva (Lucky Unicorn).

Shamrocker has a colt by Orfevre named Troll in training.
