The full to Thunder Lady, Perun has found his niche in Tasmania with trainer Alana Fulton having been secured on gavelhouse Australia for $17,000.
Bought as a lightly-raced son of
Mastercraftsman from Chris Waller Racing having not met their city-racing
expectations, Perun has now won twice from Fulton's Rosalee Lodge in Longford,
returning almost $25,000 in prize-money.
Fulton is taking the patient approach with the three year old, commenting "He turned up in great order and is just a beautiful natured horse and our plan is to just take him through the grades."
"We will line him up again in a couple of weeks and he will tell us where we should be aiming after that but hopefully he will turn out to be a Cups horse, if not this year then next year."
