Perun Puts Runs on the Board

Media Release - Wednesday June 27

The full to Thunder Lady, Perun has found his niche in Tasmania with trainer Alana Fulton having been secured on gavelhouse Australia for $17,000.

PerunBought as a lightly-raced son of Mastercraftsman from Chris Waller Racing having not met their city-racing expectations, Perun has now won twice from Fulton's Rosalee Lodge in Longford, returning almost $25,000 in prize-money.

Fulton is taking the patient approach with the three year old, commenting "He turned up in great order and is just a beautiful natured horse and our plan is to just take him through the grades."

"We will line him up again in a couple of weeks and he will tell us where we should be aiming after that but hopefully he will turn out to be a Cups horse, if not this year then next year."

Loyal gavelhouse.com Australia supporter Chris Waller Racing offer three tried horses in the current gavelhouse.com Australia auction including the imported Richard of Yorke.

Richard of Yorke has won four ranging over distances from 2,000m to 2,400m and is currently in full work. Well-related being by Oasis Dream and from a full sister to St Nicholas Abbey, he has been schooling over jumps and shows plenty of potential.

Also in full work and well-related isVisaviswho is out of Woodman mare Love and Emotion, the dam of French Emotion. Located at the team's Flemington base he's Super VOBIS eligible and would be better suited to provincial racing rather than the metro levels his owners are aiming at.
