English Confirmed for Everest

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday June 26
Motherhood has been deferred for Encosta de Lago's star sprinter English with her owners Newhaven Park confirming via Twitter she has secured a slot for the $10million The Everest in October.

Newhaven Park Tweeted - We are thrilled & extremely proud to have partnered with @jadeskye_racing for our mighty mare ENGLISH in this year's running of $13m THE EVEREST The race to the top is on!
English
Damion Flower's Jadeskye Racing have selected English for their Everest slot and the rising six year-old is in top form with a last start fourth in the Group I BRC Kingsford Smith Stakes following her memorable win in the Group I BRC Doomben 10,000.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained mare is a seasoned Group I sprinter that finished sixth in last year's Everest after jumping from the outside gate and being hampered over the concluding stages, so it's not hard to see her being in the finish this year.

A homebred for Newhaven Park, English has already won six of 26 starts and earned over $3.4 million in prizemoney.
