The ATC have released an order of entry for the Golden Slipper and with question marks on so many runners it’s going to be a bumpy ride to March 21 for punters and connections.

Fillies are at the top of the list, although the top three probably don’t make much appeal as winning hopes for the big one and further down the list debut stakes-winner Chilly Girl has already been ruled out of the autumn due to injury.
Warwoven has a big question mark on him after being withdrawn from the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on race eve due to a soundness issue, while one time Slipper favourite Incognito blotted his copybook with a meek fifth when resuming in the Group III ATC Canonbury Stakes won by first starter Hidrix.

The highest earning 2YO so far this season is Unit Five with $1.8million in the bank, but the Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner is not among entries for the Golden Slipper.
That said, if the son of Supido wins or runs well in the Blue Diamond, a late entry might hold plenty of appeal.
Inglis Millennium winner Fireball did win a previous Sydney Saturday race prior to his lucrative win last weekend and a small portion of the Millennium cash counts towards his eligible money which puts him sixth on the order of entry.
In terms of juvenile action, this Saturday looms as a comparatively quiet affair with the action set to hot up on February 21 with the $2million MRC Blue Diamond Stakes in Melbourne featuring unbeaten colt Big Sky and $300,000 Group II ATC Silver Shadow Stakes, likely second start for Hidrix … after that, we might have more answers than questions!
