Sent out favourite on the strength of three impressive wins in easier grade at his only previous outings, Without Parole won by half a length for Frankie Dettori over the Coolmore owned Galileo colt Gustav Klimt.
"I had to move because Ryan Moore in front is very dangerous and when I got to him, I looked and thought there was over a furlong to go and I'm a sitting duck here," Dettori told the Sporting Life.
"He's a proper little horse. He's a lovely horse - he's only run four times, but to do what he's done, he's got a big future."
Trainer John Gosden said Without Parole had to be brave to win.
"It was a brave performance. He had to commit early and he will have learned a lot," Gosden said.
"He had one run at Newcastle at the back-end (of last year) and he's done nothing but improve, but there's still a lot more to come.
"I still can't see a rib on him - he's a bit tubby."
