Timely Update for Great Southern Sale Today

Today's 2018 Inglis Great Southern Sale catalogue received a timely pedigree update with Single Note winning at Moonee Valley on Saturday.

Real ImpactA weanling half-brother to the Robbie Griffiths trained mare will be offered today as Lot 107, part of the first crop of Arrowfield Stud sire Real Impact.

Yulong will also offer today's Morphettville winner Air Guitar in the supplementary section of the sale. The 3YO son of Fastnet Rock claimed his second win to maintain his unbeaten record.

Meanwhile, $4,500 Inglis Great Southern Sale purchase Widgee Turf took his prize money in excess of $700,000 with a win at Moonee Valley. It was the ninth win for the Patrick Payne trained son of Blue Gum Farm stallion Turffontein.

The 2018 Inglis Great Southern sale has a total of 1070 entries including more than 600 weanlings, making it the largest weanling sale in the Southern Hemisphere in 2018.

Running from June 17-21, the sale will also offer more than 300 broodmares and over 150 racehorses.
