New Yearling Manager at Lime Country Thoroughbreds

Mikayla Jeffcoat will join Lime Country Thoroughbreds as yearling manager in July.

Currently Newhaven Park's yearling manager, Mikayla, who has a wealth of experience in the preparation of yearlings, will oversee the growth, development and preparation of Lime Country's yearlings, many of whom will be offered at the Australian yearling sales of 2019.

Lime Country sold this Fastnet Rock ctol from Norzita for $660,000Mikayla said, "I have had a wonderful three years at Newhaven Park and it has been a privilege to work with the Kelly family. Lime Country are a boutique and growing thoroughbred business and it is exciting to join them at this emerging stage in their development. I look forward to getting to know their horses, clients and staff and assisting Greg and Jo Griffin with their ambitions."

Lime Country's Jo Griffin said, "We're thrilled that Mikayla will be joining the team at Lime Country as our yearling manager. We have had a wonderful year first year in Australia, two of the highlights of which were selling a $660,000 colt and a $550,000 filly at Easter.
