With the opening day of selling at Magic Millions finished for the day, Frankel (GB) hit the heights, topping the sale with a $2m colt, while I Am Invincible took top honours on averages, 3 or more sold.

With second season sires Stay Inside and Home Affairs leading the way on Wednesday with 12 and 11 lots respectively, it will be interesting to see how their progeny perform in the ring.

Lot 212: Snitzel x Delta Queen filly – Arrowfield Stud

Snitzel filly, first foal of the G3-winning South African mare Delta Queen, a sister to G1 winner Rivarine from the family of Champion Pocket Power. Bred on the same Redoute’s Choice x Var pedigree cross that has produced four G1 winners including Autumn Glow and In The Congo.

Lot 214: Extreme Choice x Deroche filly – Newgate Farm

Daughter of Extreme Choice, the second foal of the G3 Vamos Stakes winner Deroche. Bred on the Extreme Choice x Encosta de Lago pedigree cross of two winners from three runners led by G3 placed Extreme Threat.

Lot 226: Zoustar x Dorothy Of Oz filly – Evergreen Stud

A grand-daughter of Champion 3YO Filly and multiple G1 winner Princess Coup, the well-related Zoustar filly is the third foal out of a Redoute’s Choice sister to Champion HK Griffin Thewizardofoz and a half-sister to Frankel’s dual G3 winner Argentia.

Lot 239: Anamoe x Eawase filly – Lime Country Thoroughbreds

Filly from the first crop of nine-time G1 winner Anamoe, this filly is out of the Sebring mare winner Eawase, a stakes-winning daughter of Magic Millions 2YO Classic and G3 winner Kurata Queen. Mares by Sebring have produced G1 winners Well Written, Griff and On The Bubbles.

Lot 250: I Am Invincible x Eloping colt – Segenhoe Stud

Full-brother to Champion 3YO Filly and dual G1 winner In Secret, a winner of $5.2m, the bay colt is out of the dual G3-winning Choisir mare Eloping, a three-quarter-sister to G3 winner Of The Brave.
