With a host of sires with their first crop yearlings on offer at this year's Magic Millions yearling sale, Darley's Horse of the Year Anamoe is tipped to come out on top.

Nine Time G1 Winner Anamoe Will Be Represented By Seven First Crop Yearlings On Day One

Lot 1: Snitzel x Yesterjoy filly – Baramul Stud

Three-quarter brother to G3 winner The Elanora (Redoute’s Choice) out of the More Than Ready three-quarter-sister to eight-time G1 winner More Joyous from the famed Denise’s Joy family.

Lot 10: Ole Kirk x Zestily colt – Silverdale Farm

A son of promising G1 sire Ole Kirk, this colt is out of the Snitzel sister to the dam of Listed winner Viva Vienna and a three-quarter-sister to Listed winner Milestone. Bred on a similar Written Tycoon x Snitzel cross which is produced G1 winners Private Life, Velocious and Captured By Love.

Lot 35: I Am Invincible x Alassio colt – Silverdale Farm

By Champion Sire I Am Invincible, the colt is the second living foal of the G2 Guy Walter Stakes-winning Foxwedge mare Alassio.

Lot 37: I Am Invincible x All Banter colt – Three Bridges

Second foal of the speedy, dual Listed-winning I’m All The Talk mare All Banter, a winner of seven.

Lot 59: Frankel x Antibes colt – Segenhoe Stud

One of just two lots by his sire catalogued on the opening day, the Frankel colt is the second foal of a Lonhro half-sister to Listed winner As Time Goes By from the family the Procrastinate family which includes current Magic Millions 3YO Guineas favourite Ninja, a last start winner of the G3 Vo Rogue Plate.

Lot 75: I Am Invincible x Avantage filly – Coolmore

Third foal of the nine-time G1 winner Avantage, whose first foal Avantaggia (Wootton Bassett) sold for $2.1m while her second foal, a full sister to Lot 75, sold for $1.6m to Resolute Bloodstock and has been named Lady Resolute.

Lot 85: I Am Invincible x Ballistic Lover colt – The Chase

From the family of triple G1 winner Hitotsu as well as G2 winners Lean Mean Machine and Love Conquers All, the I Am Invincible colt is the first foal of the dual Listed-winning, G1 fourth placed Smart Missile mare Ballistic Lover.

Lot 99: Too Darn Hot x Beloved colt – Sledmere Stud

Son of Too Darn Hot out of a Frankel half-sister to Deep Impact’s Japanese G1 winner Deep Brilliante – that’s some sire power!

Lot 106: I Am Invincible x Biscayne Bay colt – Yulong

First foal of Sebring’s G3 SAJC Sires’ Produce winner Biscayne Bay who went on to finish third in the G1 VRC Oaks at 3, the I Am Invincible colt is out of a half-sister to G2 Reisling Stakes winner Tenley, family of G1 winners Vancouver, Juste Momente and Skating.

Lot 114: Anamoe x Blue Sky Baby colt – Newgate Farm

One of seven yearlings catalogued on day one by nine-time G1 winner and Horse of the Year Anamoe (Street Boss), this colt is the first foal of the imported American mare Blue Sky Baby, a stakes placed three-quarter-sister to the dam of G3 winner Durante.

Lot 116: The Autumn Sun x Bollywood colt – Tyreel Stud

Family of G1 winners Dracula, Complacent and Miss Sentimental, this chestnut son of The Autumn Sun, the sire of five G1 winners is out of the Sepoy mare Bollywood, a half-sister to the Listed winner Inquiry, both out of the G3 winner Screen. 

Lot 137: I Am Invincible x Calaverite colt – Emirates Park

I Am Invincible half-brother to G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Golden Mile, both out of the dual Listed-winning Lonrho mare Calaverite from the family of G1 winners La Dorada and Major Beel.

Lot 139: Snitzel x California Gallant colt – Lime Country Thoroughbreds

Second foal out of an I Am Invincible sister to dual G3 and Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Houzten, from the family of the Australian-bred Sun Classique, a winner of four G1 races in South Africa and the UAE.

Lot 155: Anamoe x Catwalk filly – Segenhoe Stud

One of five lots by the nine-time G1 winner Anamoe in the Segenhoe Stud draft, this filly is out of a sister to Listed winner Fox Swift and a half-sister to the dam of this season’s G3 ATC Breeders’ Plate winner Incognito.

Lot 158: Zoustar x Centimental colt – Torryburn Stud

A son of reigning Champion sire Zoustar, this colt is the first foal of the G3 Widden Stakes third placed Snitzel mare Cenitmental - 88.5% winners to runners pedigree cross.

Lot 160: Anamoe x Chassis colt – Lime Country Thoroughbreds

A son of Street Boss Horse of the Year Anamoe, a winner of nine G1 races, this colt is the first foal of the Listed-winning Al Maher mare Chassis, a winner of seven. Bred on the double Danehill pedigree cross that has produced seven G1 winners including Joliestar, Ozzmosis and Zougotcha.

Lot 183: Snitzel x Complicit colt – Segenhoe Stud

Son of Snitzel, the August foaled colt is the second foal out of the imported, stakes placed Blame mare Complicit. Snitzel x Blame pedigree cross has 100% winners to runners led by Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Switzerland, while the Snitzel x American mares cross has produced G1 winners Russian Revolution, Hot Snitzel, Wild Ruler, Switzerland and Heavenly Blue.

Lot 201: Extreme Choice x Dame Giselle colt – The Chase

As the lone colt by Extreme Choice offered on the first day of the sale, the third foal of the G2-winning, G1 placed I Am Invincible mare Dame Giselle is sure to prove extremely popular – with many possibly saying ‘save the best until last.’ Family of G1 winners Ulanova and Cent Home.
