A Breednet ‘One to Watch’ when winning on debut at Warwick Farm on December 3, Zoustar gelding Ice Kool confirmed his potential winning at Randwick last Saturday and his trainer David Pfieffer now has eyes on the Gold Coast.

A deal was announced this week for the $3million Magic Millions Sunlight slot race on January 10 with prominent owner Max Whitby.
"Coming into last Saturday, it was only a Saturday race but the pressure was there to get the job done to make himself selectable in this race," David Pfieffer told Racenet.
"He took on the older horses that were more experience than him there and he will have the same sort of scenario in the Sunlight but I think two weeks between runs will help him as well, not three and a half.
"He pulled up well, trotted up good and ate well over the weekend.
"He is bright well within in himself and we are ready to go for the 10th.
"I am going to keep it uncomplicated before then and try to have his last gallop here with Jason (Collett) on aboard rather than go up too early."
Jason Collett rode Ice Kool in his first win and has been booked for the Gold Coast race with the current market favourite being Queensland trained colt Grafterburners a last start winner of the Listed BRC Gold Edition Plate.
Ice Kool was passed in at Magic Millions when offered in the Widden draft and runs for a big syndicate of owners headed by Strong Bloodstock.
He has won $164,250 from his first two starts and is the second winner from stakes-winning Showcasing (GB) mare So Far Sokool, a daughter of Group III Sokool.
So Far Sokool has no yearling for the sales this year, but produced a filly by Zousain this spring.
Widden will offer a close relation to Ice Kool at MM 2026 in Lot 1024, a filly by Zousain from Showcasing (GB) mare Claudia Shiver, a three-quarter sister to So Far Sokool.
