A two time winner in Brisbane for the Tony Gollan stable when racing as Acappella Nova, the talented gelding was subsequently sold to Hong Kong and now runs for the Frankie Lor stable.

Ridden by Hollie Doyle, The Red Hare was strong to the line in a thrilling finish to score a head win in the Class Three event over 1400m.

The Red Hare is one of three full siblings that have all been metro winners from good producer In Unison, a winning Encosta de Lago mare from the family of Australian Horse of the Year Pride of Jenni.

In Unison has a yearling gelding by Sebring Sun and foaled again to him this spring producing a colt.
