Topping the list of notable horses is Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) runner up, Bellatrix Star, with the four-year-old mare looking to resume in the Doveton Stakes after more than a year off the track. In the same heat is the up-and-coming Samangu, who returns to Caulfield having won five of seven starts, including the $175,000 Mystic Journey last start.

Other standouts include Winter Championship winner Jimmy The Bear and the inexperienced yet promising Lyrics 'N' Song, out of champion mare Melody Belle who won 14 Group 1 races across Australia and New Zealand.
