Two Outstanding Late Entries for MM Broodmare Sale

The world class catalogue for next week's Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale has been boosted with two outstanding late entries for the sale.

Courgette, the dam of Golden Slipper winner She Will REign will be offered in foal to I Am InvincibleCourgette, the dam of Golden Slipper heroine She Will Reign, and recent stakes winning filly Torvill are additions to a star studded supplementary catalogue for the Southern Hemisphere's leading breeding stock sale.

Consigned by Yarraman Park Stud, Courgette will head to the sale in foal to superstar sire I Am Invincible in just her fifth season at stud.

The Sydney winner by Charge Forward has had her past two yearlings by Shamus Award and Time for War sell for $425,000 and $325,000 respectively.

She Will Reign, her first foal, won the Golden Slipper at two before training on to capture the Group One AJ Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley in a thrilling finish. As it stands She Will Reign boasts a record of six wins from 11 starts and earnings of over $3.2 million.

Courgette will go under the hammer as the last lot on Thursday May 31 - following the originally catalogued lots and the supplementary of broodmares.

Recent Doomben stakes winning three-year-old Torvill will go under the hammer next Tuesday after joining the Blue Sky Premium Consignment draft this week.

A daughter of Not a Single Doubt, Torvill won the listed Gold Coast Bracelet at Doomben on April 28. She had earlier won the listed Reginald Allen Handicap at Randwick.

Prepared during her career by leading horseman Clarry Conners, Torvill ran a half length second to outstanding filly Shoals in the Group One Surround Stakes in early March.

Torvill will go under the hammer as the last lot on Tuesday May 29 - following the originally catalogued lots and the supplementary of race fillies and maiden mares including Jameka.
