Another Day, Another Winner for No Nay Never

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday May 22
Coolmore's first son of Scat Daddy to go to stud, No Nay Never (USA) added a fifth winner to his tally overnight in the UK with a stylish victory for Cosmic Law.

Fifth on debut at Doncaster earlier this month, the Richard Fahey trained colt tracked the leaders and then hit the line hard to win the five furlong contest by half a length.

No Nay Never"Cosmic Law was green on debut at Doncaster but was given a lovely education and has come on a hell of a lot for it. He's a six-furlong horse in the making and there should be better things to come from him," said winning rider PJ McDonald.

A 90,000 pound purchase from the Goffs Doncaster Yearling Sale, Cosmic Law is a half-brother to Group III placed El Tren from good producer Dhamma, who comes from the family of Group I winning sires Spinning World (USA) and Good Journey (USA).

The two best turf sprinting sons of Scat Daddy, No Nay Never and Caravaggio are set to visit Australia in the spring for Coolmore.

Now the sire of five first crop winners in the Northern Hemisphere, No Nay Never will be on his third trip and has weanlings to be offered at the upcoming Magic Millions National Sale this week.

A lightning fast dark grey powerhouse of a sprinter, Caravaggio starred at Royal Ascot two years running winning the Group II Coventry Stakes at two and then the Group I Commonwealth Cup at three.

No Nay Never remains at a fee of $19,250, while Caravaggio is priced at $33,000.
