New Stakes-Winner for Domesday

Tara Madgwick - Saturday May 19
Aquis based Domesday has had some outstanding mares running for him this season including Daysee Doom and Oregon's Day with Have Another Glass adding to their success with a strong finishing win in the Listed SAJC Centaurea Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday.

Trained at Naracoorte by Sue Jaensch, Have Another Glass was an unlucky last start fifth in the Group II SAJC Queen of the South Stakes when blocked for a run, but enjoyed better fortune this time around.

DomesdayShe overcame a wide gate to score a half length win in the 2019 metre feature, her seventh win from 19 starts with prizemoney topping $240,000.

Retained to race by her breeders, Have Another Glass is the best of four winners from Generous Tristana (NZ), a daughter of Epsom Derby winner Generous.

Have Another Glass is the 17th stakes-winner for Domesday, who has been very popular for Aquis at their Queensland base covering 104 mares in 2016 and then 141 last year.

The handsome near black son of Red Ransom (USA) stands this spring at a fee of $9,900.
