Champion Australian trainers Chris Waller and Ciaron Maher have been active during the first session of the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale, which was topped last year by Sir Delius (GB) at 1.3million guineas.

Ciaron Maher Bloodstock signed for a three year-old Sea the Stars gelding Mukhtalif (IRE) that made 325,000 guineas.
A Shadwell Stud homebred trained by William Haggas, he has had two wins and three placings from five starts and is a last start winner at York on October 10 over 1m2 ½ f. His two career wins have come since he was gelded in August.

Chris Waller Racing paid 200,000 guineas for two year-old Zarak colt Hard Evidence (Fr), who has had just two starts and had a last start win at Bath earlier this month over a mile.
The first session is still continuing.
