The Listed Wellesley Stakes winner Lassified (Stay Inside) is the ninth individual Stakes-winning Inglis graduate across Australasia over the festive period.
The Andrew Forsman trained 2YO filly was sharply away from the gates and was never headed, winning the 1100m contest at Trentham by 0.5 lengths, a margin which almost certainly understated her superiority over her six rivals.

A $110,000 purchase from the draft of Glenbeigh Farm by Forsman Racing/Andrew Williams Bloodstock at the 2025 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Lassified races in the famous OTI Racing silks.
She had been a $70,000 weanling purchase from the draft of Twin Hills Stud by Glenbeigh Farm at the 2024 Inglis Great Southern Sale.
“It’s fantastic for all of the owners in this filly, they’re getting an enormous thrill,” said OTI’s Terry Henderson.
“We aren’t known for buying these short course horses, but the Inglis Race Series is such an incredible incentive to get new owners involved in racing, especially the ladies ownership groups with the Pink Bonus.
“She’s now had the three starts in New Zealand for two wins, so the plan is to bring her over to Australia for a possible tilt at the $2m Inglis Millennium on February 7.
“As I said, the prizemoney in this Inglis Race Series is such a big carrot in attracting owners to buy shares in racehorses,” said Henderson.
A Russian Revolution half brother to Lassified will be offered as Lot 795 at the 2026 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale on account of Sledmere Stud.

The stunning run of success for Inglis graduates began at Ellerslie on Boxing Day when star filly Well Written (Written Tycoon) won the G2 Auckland Guineas over a mile.

Taking on male rivals for the first time in Stakes company, the Stephen Marsh trainee was too classy, finishing her race off strongly to prevail by 0.3 lengths at the line.
The Yulong colour bearer, a winner of the G1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas in November, is now unbeaten in four career starts and looks a special filly.
A $28,000 Inglis Great Southern Sale weanling purchase by Foxhill Thoroughbreds from the draft of Lemrac Lodge, Well Written was bred by David Digney.
At Sandown on the same day the John McArdle trained Regal Zeus (Zoustar) took out the Listed Lord Stakes over 1600m.
It was a 10th career win and a third Stakes win for the 5YO, who has now won more than $965,000 for his owners.
Regal Zeus was a $150,000 purchase at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale by Regal Bloodstock/Bluegrass (FBAA)/Redgum.
To complete a Boxing Day hat-trick, talented 6YO Tavi Time (Tavistock) became a millionaire with a stylish win in the G3 Summer Cup over 2000m at Randwick.
It was a 10th win for the Kris Lees trainee who was a $130,000 Inglis Ready2Race Sale purchase by his owner Adrian Pazman from the draft of Kiltannon Stables.
Tavi Time was winning the valuable contest for the second consecutive year to take his earnings past the $1.1m mark.
The following day at Eagle Farm, Darby Racing’s Amor Victorious (Caravaggio) enjoyed his first win in over a year when winning the Listed Members Mile.
A $180,000 purchase at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale by Darby Racing/Will Johnson Bloodstock, the Bjorn Baker-trained 6YO has now accumulated almost $780,000 in career earnings.
On December 28, outstanding prospect Caffe Florian (Snitzel) was the first leg of a Stakes double for Inglis graduates on the valuable card at Gosford.
Sent off a $1.75 favourite for the Listed Gosford Guineas, the Richard Litt trained 3YO filly produced a withering turn of foot to put the race to bed in the straight.
It was a third career win from just four starts for Caffe Florian, who races in the well-known colours of owners Ottavio and Wendy Galletta, who purchased her from the draft of Arrowfield Stud at the 2024 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Another Easter graduate won the G3 Belle Of The Turf Stakes over a mile on the same card, in this case the Kris Lees trained 5YO Kind Words (Written Tycoon).
Sporting the famous silks of New Zealand owner Lib Petagna, Kind Words was claiming a fourth career win and a valuable first win in Stakes company.
She was a $280,000 purchase by Bruce Perry Bloodstock from the draft of Cambridge Stud at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
The new year began with a bang at Ellerslie with the Stephen Marsh trained Queen Zou (Zoustar) taking out the G2 Rich Hill Mile.
It was a first Stakes win for the well-bred filly who was a $650,000 purchase by Marsh from the draft of Vinery Stud at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
“Unbelievable. It means a lot to us, it’s the first horse Dylan [Johnson] and I really stepped out and paid a lot of money for,” said the winning trainer post-race.
“We’re lucky we’ve got such great, loyal owners and they all came in, it’s a big thrill for us… it’s a race we wanted to win with her, I just love the way they put the pressure on so far out and she was just stalking.
“She’s in the G1 Thorndon Mile [on January 17] that looks the logical race… she’s done a marvellous job this time in so if she’s 110% that’s where we’ll head.”
Vinery General Manager Adam White was no-less delighted with the result.
“Queen Zou was a lovely filly at the Easter Sale, she presented very well and was one of those yearlings you knew you had multiple people on.
"To [bloodstock agent] Dylan Johnson’s credit he loved her and was prepared to go strong to get her for Stephen Marsh and their owners.
"Easter is a great sale to present a quality filly and hopefully Queen Zou can become another G1 winning filly like our previous Easter graduates in Aristia and Femminile.”
The win of Queen Zou provides a significant update to yearling full sister who will be offered as Lot 158 on Day 1 of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in March through the draft of Widden Stud.
