Trained by Richard Fahey and ridden by Paul Hannagan, Charming Kid showed plenty of speed and found the line strongly to win the five furlong contest by half a length under his own steam.
"I'd be thinking of the Norfolk Stakes, Charming Kid is quite sharp and you need plenty of boot at Ascot," said Richard Fahey.

Charm Spirit had 30 yearlings average $112,000 at Karaka Book 1 and also had four yearlings average $2616,250 at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
His yearlings sold for up to $400,000 with his top seller a filly from Lady Kipling sold by Windsor Park at Karaka and bought by Ciaron Maher / Waterford Bloodstock.
Charm Spirit stands at a fee of $18,000.
