Bryce Bevan Appointed Head of Digital at Magic Millions

Media Release - Wednesday October 1

Magic Millions' commitment to conduct online thoroughbred auctions has received a huge boost with today's announcement that Bryce Bevan has been appointed as Head of Digital.

Having gained years of experience since graduating from the Godolphin Flying Start program, Bevan will front the soon to be launched new Magic Millions Digital platform that will enable industry members to trade stock regularly and with confidence under the trusted Magic Millions banner.

Bryce Bevan will be the head of Magic Millions Digital.

Bevan began bidspotting for Magic Millions in 2011 and subsequently worked in administration during his tertiary studies. That helped set him on to the path to successfully applying for the Godolphin Flying Start program in 2014 after graduating from The University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce degrees.

During the renowned Flying Start program Bevan undertook work experience with Churchill Downs Incorporated (Kentucky), Arrowfield Stud (Australia), Zabeel Stables (Dubai) and Goffs (Ireland). He graduated from the Godolphin Flying Start program in 2016, the same year as Magic Millions' Bloodstock Sales Manager Dane Robinson.

Bevan joined Inglis as a Bloodstock Sales Consultant/Auctioneer in 2016, building meaningful relationships across the industry and gaining a deep understanding of the intricacies of thoroughbred sales, notably during the rise of the online sales environment due to COVID-19.

Recently he has primarily worked in real estate for two of Australia's most prestigious brands, with roles spanning sales, performance and auctioneering, in the process strengthening his ability to negotiate, train sales teams and improve sales performance.

"I am very excited to join Magic Millions many years after they gave me my start in the thoroughbred industry," Bevan said.

"I look forward to working closely with the leadership team and its many clients to establish a digital platform designed to enhance the online sales space in the industry."

"Magic Millions is renowned for creating an unmatched atmosphere with its live sales across the country, and that's the energy and experience we're looking to bring to Magic Millions Digital as well, continuously striving to innovate and evolve, for the benefit of our clients - buyers and vendors alike."

"I can't wait to hit the ground running," Bevan added.

Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said Bevan was joining the team at an exciting time for the company.

"We have been investing and developing the technology we feel is best for the online sales space," Bowditch said.

"Bryce's appointment is exciting and we will continue to build a team to work with him to help grow Magic Millions Digital into a positive selling platform for our industry."

"We are well aware that traditional live sales are so very important for our industry, particularly in presenting younger and premium stock - but as you've seen over recent years the online market is an important vehicle."

"Our dedicated team will work extremely hard to provide the best possible online experience for vendors and buyers alike and we look forward to Magic Millions Digital becoming a platform that is trusted and proves popular with all users."

The Magic Millions Digital platform will be launched soon.
