The Tibbie (1400m) is an open affair with some race fit younger progressive mares all looking to snag some valuable Black Type – keep an eye out for Oh Diamond Lil (So You Think), It’s a Knockout (Dundeel) and Tuileries (So You Think).

The Cameron (1400m) is another open affair with last season’s Group I placed Swiftfalcon looking to get a win on the board at his second run back from a spell in a race with many chances.

The Newcastle Gold Cup (2300m) will be a stepping stone for many of these horse towards loftier goals with all of the runners entered for upcoming G1 staying features. Chris Waller and Ciaron Maher will provide six of the runners and they will likely include the winner!

Lope de Vega is a sire whose progeny have been very successful here in Australia and Travolta (GB) fits the profile of a young stayer on the rise.
