Having her third run back from a spell, Tinkermosa improved on two frustrating second palcigns to score a determined short head win in the 1600 metre feature.

She hit the line hard in a manner suggesting longer races will be within her scope.

A $50,000 NZB Select Yearling Sale purchase for her trainer from the draft of Wellfield Lodge, who stand her sire Alamosa, Tinkermosa has two wins and four placings from eight starts with prizemoney topping $80,000.

She is one of five winners from Tinkerbabu, a winning Giant's Causeway (USA) daughter of Group I winner La Bella Dama.
