The Inglis Ready2Race Sale is easily the best and most progressive 2YO Sale in the country.

Signature Scent topped last year's sale - image Racing Photos

Last year’s sale-topper Signature Scent won her first two starts by a combined 5.3L while other recent domestic stars include three-time Group winner Libertad, G2-winning millionaire Democracy Manifest, another millionaire in Strait Acer, dual G1 winner Nettoyer as well as a plethora of other high-class performers like Forgot You, Lightsaber, Prix de Turn, Trumbull, Sonofkirk, Raikkonen etc.

Internationally the sale has been hugely successful too, with graduates winning regularly in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Macau including last season’s Hong Kong Classic Cup winner and G1 placed Rubylot, Hong Kong G2 winner Wishful Thinker and Singapore stars like Golden Monkey, Starlight and Relentless to name but a few.

In Hong Kong alone the Inglis Ready2Race Sale has provided 96 individual winning graduates of 252 races since 2018 while just last season the sale produced 11 Class 3 winners or better of 17 races, compared to just one Class 3 winner or better of three races from the MM 2YOs In Training Sale.

Breeze ups will be held at Warwick Farm (Sept 29), Taupo (Sept 29) and Wangaratta (Sept 30) ahead of the sale, with vision of the breezes uploaded to the Inglis website and iPad app within 48 hours of each session.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch described the 2025 catalogue as “comfortably the best 2YO catalogue this country has ever seen’’.

“When it comes to Australian breeze up sales, there is no peer to the Inglis Ready2Race Sale in terms of graduate success, both domestically and internationally so it’s fantastic to be able to present such a well-credentialled bunch of 2YOs to the buying bench in October,’’ Hutch said.

“We have an outstanding group of preparers and consignors engaged in the sale, the majority of whom have been planning their drafts for this sale since last year’s very successful sale.

“Last year was the best group of horses we have ever had for this sale, but this year’s group is a further progression on them, both in terms of physique and profile.

“The domestic sire power catalogued truly is incredible for a 2YO Sale in this part of the world and of the top 20 active Australasian stallions in Hong Kong last season, 17 have offspring in this year’s catalogue.

“It is a fantastic time to be in Sydney, with the world’s richest race on turf, the $20 The Everest, to be run two days after the sale at Royal Randwick on what has become one of the great race days.’’

All horses offered at the Inglis Ready2Race Sale are eligible for the lucrative Inglis Race Series which includes the $5m Xtra Bonus Series and $1m Pink Bonus Series, the most lucrative female equine ownership scheme in the world.
