Carrazzo Melbourne 'Sport of Kings' Tax Talk

Media Release - Sunday July 27

It gives Baumgartners great pleasure to announce that the Paul Carrazzo’s “Sport of Kings” horse tax talk returns to Inglis Melbourne on Wednesday 13 August.

The bonus for this talk is that delegates can attend “in person” or “online”, a format Paul has recently adopted for recent NSW, QLD and WA talks.

Paul’s last Melbourne talk was in 2017 and the Covid intrusion has made it difficult to schedule another Melbourne talk since then, especially with the recent merger of Carrazzo Consulting and Top 100 firm, Baumgartners.

Special focus on the hot topics

The main focus of the talk will be the discussion around the landmark Darley Land Tax Case, which has thrown doubt on the land tax exemption status of many breeders and primary producers. However, as usual, there will be something in this talk for any serious horse investor, including a Q&A forum at the end.

The talk will be presented from the sale ring at The William Inglis Oaklands Junction sales complex on Wednesday 13 August.

  • GST and Start-Ups
  • Stock Write-Downs
