The Magic Millions National Weanling Sale is on this Sunday and Vinery Stud aren’t wasting time bringing anything to the Gold Coast other than quality with a select draft of four that includes one of only two colts in the sale by champion sire Zoustar.

He comes up early as Lot 85 and will tick a lot of boxes for the pinhook market being the first foal of a winning half-sister by Not a Single Doubt to Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Tagaloa.

Lot 85

The colt is bred on the exact same Zoustar x Not a Single Doubt c ross as this season’s Group I MVRC William Reid Stakes winner Schwarz.

Lot 214 is a colt by international renowned sire Starspangledbanner, whose progeny are highly regarded in both hemispheres with Hong Kong proving a particularly good showcase for their talents.

Lot 214

He is the first foal of Six Senses, a half-sister by So You Think to Group I SA Derby winner Qafila.

Lot 301 is a colt by outstanding sire Toronado (IRE), who had his first million dollar yearling earlier this year when a colt from Hardly Surprising topped the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne for Gilgai Farm.

Lot 301

This colt has the pedigree to match his good looks being a half-brother to Group III winner Let’sbefrankbaby from imported Invincible Spirit stakes-winner Baby Pink (IRE). He is also bred on the exact same cross as G1 winner Masked Crusader.

Lot 341 is a colt from the second crop of Home Affairs, who topped both the Magic Millions and Inglis Easter Yearling Sales this year with exceptional youngsters that sold $3.2million (filly from Sunlight) and $3million (colt from Shout the Bar).

Lot 341

This colt has the pedigree to put him at the top end of any yearling sale as he is the third foal of Damodice, an unraced half-sister by Medaglia D’Oro (USA) to Group I winner Gathering and to Group III winner Florentina, the dam of multiple US Group I winner In Italian.

Damodice is from the Twyla branch of the Dancing Show (USA) family which has been in hot form this year producing two new G1 winners in Marhoona and Schwarz.
