Top Class Mares From Bell View Park

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday April 10
If you want to breed a million dollar yearling it starts with acquiring a top class mare and Bell View Park have three beauties that could have you back at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale as a vendor in two years time with a serious horse.

The Bell View Park draft consists of:

Lot 128: Savaria (By Savabeel) won three group races, highlighted by a dominant win in the G1 New Zealand Oaks. She is from the outstanding family of Soliloquy and is in foal to Exceed and Excel.

"Savaria is the complete package - She's by a champion sire who is the leading sire of G1 winners in Australasia this season, she is a G1 winner and was the highest rated 3yo filly in NZ over 1600m+, she is a magnificent type with plenty of size, substance and quality, she is from a great family and is in foal to an outstanding sire.

"Did You Know?

57% of NZ Oaks winners [since 1982] have produced at least 1 stakes winner.

38% of Golden Slipper winning fillies [since inception] have produced at least 1 stakes winner.

That's a 50% better strike rate!"

Lot 129: Sebring Sally (By Sebring) was a metro winning 2yo before training on to win the Listed TRC Strutt Stakes and was narrowly beaten in the G2 BRC The Roses. She is in foal to American Pharaoh (USA).

"Sebring Sally is by a proven stallion in Sebring, she comes from the excellent family of Golden Slipper winner Catbird and her half-sister Roy's Riviera was recently G3 placed. She's a very good type, has let down nicely and is in foal to the exciting triple crown winner, American Pharaoh."

Lot 149
: Tarquinn Shadow (By Trade Fair) won the listed WATC Starstruck Classic and was also placed in the G3 WATC La Trice Classic. She hails from the great family of Redoute's Choice and is in foal to Brazen Beau.

"Tarquinn Shadow was a consistent performer on the track winning 6 races and she comes from one of the best families in the stud book. She is a very attractive, dark coloured mare with plenty of size and strength and Brazen Beau compliments her nicely."
