Debut Winner for Doubtland

Widden Stud’s value sire Doubtland posted a debut winner at Murray Bridge on Wednesday when Sir Myka saluted as a short priced favourite.

Trained by Travis Doudle, Sir Myka was made to work for his win, digging in late to score a neck win over Anders filly Maldivica.

Sir Myka was a $25,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for his trainer from the Cornerstone Stud draft and is the fifth winner from five foals to race from Angela’s Dream, a winning half-sister by Bel Esprit to stakes-winner Varsilayos.

Doubtland stands at an affordable $13,200.

Sir Myka is the fourth winner from just nine starters for Doubtland, who is priced this spring at $13,200.
