Widden Stud have a stellar draft of yearlings to be offered at Inglis Easter and the very first to be offered this year was a Zoustar colt from Lady Lupino that sold for $1.15million.

The third foal of Group I placed Sebring mare Lady Lupino was bought by Lucky Owners Pty Ltd and comes with a big Black Type pedigree.

Bred by Widden in partnership, the star colt is from a sibling to Champion 2YO and 3YO Colt Star Witness, Group III winner Nostradamus and stakes-winner Embracer as well as the dam of Group III winner Vulpine with his third dam the blue hen Chiara, dam of 11 winners including Group winenrs Chinchilla Rose, Ferocity and Leone Chiara.

Lady Lupino produced a colt by Farnan last spring before visiting Anamoe.
