Debut Winner for Albrecht

Darley's value Redoute's Choice son Albrecht sired his second winner on Thursday when the Darren Weirs stable produced a debut winner at Warrnambool called More Bricks.

AlbrechtHe showed natural speed from the gate to lead all the way and win the 1000 merte maiden by a neck as favourite.

A $34,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for his trainer from the Jorson Farm draft, he was a successful pinhook having been bought by Jorson Farm for just $4,500 at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale.

He is the first winner for unraced Commands mare Paros, who comes from the family of Group III winner Falaise and stakes-winners Pearly Kings and Glows.

More Bricks is the second winner for Albrecht joining stakes-placed Sanglier.

Albrecht is a Group III winning son of Redoute's Choice from a sister to Lonhro.
