Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch described the catalogue as “out of this world’’.

“We have tremendous confidence in this sale and worked to build it into a night that is a celebration of the very best fillies and mares, which is exactly what the sale is going to be this year.

“The Chairman’s Sale provides a rare opportunity for the world’s leading breeders to acquire the best breeding stock going to public market this year and we’re exceptionally proud of the catalogue and very grateful for the support that we have been afforded by all involved.

“In recent years each of the two most recent colts to win the G1 Golden Slipper, Shinzo and Stay Inside, have been sold in utero at the Chairman’s Sale, while buyers have found the dams of superstars like Imperatriz, Home Affairs, In Italian, She’s Extreme, Shout The Bar and many others and there is little doubt that this year’s catalogue will be a source of further top-class winners in the future.

“The recent racetrack success of fillies and mares after they were purchased at Chairman’s recently has also been very appealing, the likes of Kimochi winning the G1 Rupert Clarke, C’Est Magique winning a G2, Montefilia a G2, Eagle Nest a G3, just to name a few.

“We will be accepting supplementary entries for the next month so if you want to be involved in the sale, I encourage you to get in touch with a member of the bloodstock team as soon as possible and join what will be a memorable night both in and out of the sale ring.’’

Supplementary entries for the Chairman’s Sale will remain open until 5pm on Thursday April 24.

To submit a supplementary entry, contact a member of the Inglis bloodstock team or CLICK HERE.

A day after the Chairman’s Sale will be the Australian Broodmare Sale, for which 103 lots have been catalogued.

The Australian Broodmare Sale is synonymous with value, with the dams of recent G1 winners such as Stefi Magnetica, Southport Tycoon, Zougotcha, Veight, Kimochi, Another Prophet etc all sourced from the sale.

Inglis Breeding Stock, Tried and Digital Sales have produced the dams of 66 Australian G1 winners since 2018 including Home Affairs, Stay Inside, Giga Kick, Kimochi, Knight’s Choice, Hayasugi, Veight, Shinzo, Imperatriz etc.

This year’s renewal of the Australian Broodmare Sale will see mares offered in foal to stallions including the likes of Alabama Express, Bivouac, Cylinder, Dundeel, Farnan, Harry Angel, Hellbent, Home Affairs, In the Congo, Maurice, Ole Kirk, Shinzo, So You Think, Tassort, Toronado, Zousain etc.
