MM Adelaide drafts from Holbrook Thoroughbreds have produced their share of winners over the years with two time stakes-winner London’s Image the latest success story.

The three year-old Headwater filly was sold in 2023 for just $20,000 to her WA based trainer Ryan Hill, who has won five races with the filly including two stakes races with her overall earnings just shy of $500,000.

The Holbrook draft this year is short and sweet.

We know how good Fastnet Rock mares are at stud with the now retired Coolmore stalwart already in front by a margin of more than $6million on the Australian Broodmare Sires List for this season with his daughters producing an amazing 227 winners (12 SW’s) of $24million and change.

Lot 289 is a lovely bay filly from the second crop of promising young sire Graff from stakes-winning Fastnet Rock mare Casquets.

A half-sister to stakes-winner Ballet Suite, Casquets comes from the family of Group II winner Flak Jacket.

Hellbent is a stallion doing a great job and is fast closing in on his century of seasonal winners with his top performers headed by his star mares Magic Time and Benedetta and new season juvenile stakes-winner Trementi.

Lot 384 is a strapping Hellbent colt foaled in early November that is only going to improve.

He is the fourth foal of Glasgow Grey, a placed half-sister by Mastercraftsman (IRE) to stakes-winner Happy Hippy from a fast running family that has produced group I winning sprinter Notoire.

With his oldest progeny just three year-olds Castelvecchio is doing a fine job with a Group I winner in El Castello and two more Group winning fillies Aeliana and Double Market.

Lot 390 is a filly from the third crop of Castelvecchio and is the first foal of Hazardous Joy, a half-sister to stakes-winner Hijack Hussy.

The fourth dam of this filly is blue hen Party, the dam of Group I winners Masked Party and Festal and grand-dam of Group I winners Wandjina, Inspiration and Dracula.
