Valiant Stud Sell $520,000 Colt by The Autumn Sun

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 11

Back in 2022, Valiant Stud had a great result at Inglis Classic when selling a filly by The Autumn Sun from Talimena that made $550,000 and went on to be Group I placed Tulsi and on Tuesday they sold her full brother for $520,000.

$520,000 The Autumn sun colt from Talimena.

Bred by Walker Racing and Breeding, he was snapped up by Hong Kong based Magus Equine and is the sixth foal from well bred Lonhro mare Talimena, a half-sister to Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi and also the grand-dam of this season’s juvenile stakes-winner Tremonti.

Fergal Connolly of Valiant Stud was thrilled to get such a great result which exceeded expectation and has more to look forward to as Talimena produced a filly foal by The Autumn Sun last spring before visiting Golden Slipper winner Shinzo.
