$240,000 for Yes Yes Yes Filly

Tara Madgwick - Monday February 10

Everest hero Yes Yes Yes has sired more Australian winners this season than any other second crop sire barring Too Darn Hot (GB) and Blue Point (IRE) and he made a splash at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale on Monday when his filly from Lanikai sold for $240,000.

A full sister to stakes-placed Maili and a half-sister to stakes-winner Kalino, who has won over $660,000 in prizemoney, the stylish dark brown filly was offered by Tyreel Stud and snapped up by Kearney Racing /Daniel Springfield.

$240,000 Yes Yes Yes filly from Lanikai.

Bred by Bill and Chris Lovatt, she is the fifth foal of well bred I Am Invincible mare Lanikai, who has had four to race for three winners and a place-getter, with her strong female family sure to make this filly a great investment going forward of she gains Black Type like her siblings.

Her third dam is stakes-winner Ride the Rapids, who has spawned a very successful Black Type dynasty that has produced Group I winners River Dove, Captivant, Crown Prosecutor and Group II winning sire Headwater.

Lanikai has been a regular visitor to the Coolmore sires and produced a colt by Kalino’s sire Pierro last spring before going back to him again.
