Bella Bonus Added to Pride of Dubai Tally

Tara Madgwick - Thursday January 23

For the stallions looking to chase down division leader Pride of Dubai in the race to be Australia’s Champion Sire by earnings in 2025, the task has gotten a little harder with Arion confirming a sum of $2million has been added to his tally earlier this week.

Going into the big Magic Millions meeting at the Gold Coast last Friday, Pride of Dubai had a total of $15million and change, but coming into this week has soared to $17million which puts him $3.5million ahead of Zoustar.

He is somewhat of a stationary target with his star mare Pride of Jenni retired and his brilliant sprinter Bella Nipotina set to sit out the autumn in favour of a Brisbane Winter Carnival campaign, but those doing the chasing will still need to pull put plenty of winners to catch him.

Bella Nipotina targeted the Everest and it’s lead up and post races in the spring which has resulted in the additional $2million bonus payment for her points earned in those races and Arion have just credited that to her sire Pride of Dubai.
