Hinchinbrook is no stranger to success in the West having sired brilliant filly Whispering Brook to dominate the Perth two year-old events a couple of seasons back and at Ascot on Wednesday we saw a filly that may well do the same.

Amelia's La Bout as a yearlingThe Simon Miller trained Amelia’s La Bout was sent out a hot favourite when making her debut and got the job done in style when cruising clear to win over 1200 metres by a length and a half.

A $280,000 Inglis Easter Session II purchase for Amelia Park Racing and Breeding from the Willow Park draft, Amelia’s La Bout is the fourth winner from Dane With Zeel, an unraced sister To Group II winner and $1million earner Natural Blitz.
