Arriving Home Goes Two for Two – Three-Quarter Brother for MM 2025

Tara Madgwick - Sunday December 22

Talented I Am Invincible filly Arriving Home does her best work on the line and we saw it when she scored on debut at Warwick Farm earlier this month and again when she got there in the last stride to win at Randwick on Saturday.

Trained by Bjorn Baker and ridden by Kerrin McEvoy, Arriving Home was stepping up to a Benchmark 72 event over 1300m and was too determined at the finish for her stable mate Midnight Dynamite to win by a head in a thriller.

With two wins at her only starts and prizemoney topping $164,000, Arriving Home is in  contention for a trip to the Gold Coast.

“She’s a Magic Millions filly,” Bjorn Baker said after the win.

“I’m not sure if she’s going to make the three-year-old race, but we’d obviously love to get in.

“If she got in we’d definitely go.”

Arriving Home was a $550,000 Magic Millions purchase from Yarraman Park.

A $550,000 Magic Millions purchase from Yarraman Park for Cunningham Thoroughbreds/Clarke Bloodstock Pty Ltd (FBAA)/Bjorn Baker Racing, Arriving Home was bred by Yarraman Park and Gall Bloodstock and they retain a share in her ownership.

“It was a really game win and she’s doing a super job,” Baker said.

“She was an expensive yearling so there’s always a bit of pressure and you want to perform, but the owners have been very good, loyal clients to me and I thought she was very good today.

“She’s still learning and doing one or two things wrong, but it was a good win.”

Arriving Home is the second winner from three foals to race from stakes-winning Stratum mare Precious Memories, whose dam is a half-sister to Group I winners Castelvecchio and Maid of Heaven.

Three-quarter brother to Arriving Home by Home Affairs from Precious Memories.

Yarraman Park will offer a Home Affairs colt from Precious Memories at Magic Millions as Lot 795.

Precious Memories has foaled again this spring producing a filly by Home Affairs.
