Daily Debutants

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 28
There are so many interesting first starters in Australia and New Zealand today it’s hard to settle on one as a highlight, but a Frankel filly from an out and out champion and the half-sister to Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign make race two at Rosehill today a must watch.

Rosina Kojonup was a $425,000 Inglis Easter purchaseKris Lees takes the wraps off the John Singleton homebred Miss Fabulass, who is the fourth foal of champion filly Samantha Miss and results from a Northern Hemisphere mating to Frankel.

Her trial form looks encouraging and she has Kerrin McEvoy to ride, although the outside gate will not make it an easy task for Miss Fabulass, who is taking on a very strong field on paper.

Bjorn Baker has only produced She Will Reign’s half-sister Rosina Kojonup once at the trials for an impressive win and if she can salute, she will become the first winner for her Cox Plate winning sire Shamus Award.
