Cup Day Stakes-Winner for Headwater

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday November 6

With a plethora of racing all over Australia on Cup Day there were opportunities aplenty and Vinery Stud’s value sire Headwater made his mark with a new stakes-winner on Perth at Ascot where three year-old filly London’s Image captured the Listed WATC Burgess Queen Stakes (1400m).

Trained by Ryan Hill, London’s Image was having her first crack at stakes company and scored a neck win to take her overall record to three wins and two placings from nine starts with prizemoney just shy of $170,000.
