Classy gelding Hellova Street scoring a bold front running win in the Group III VRC TCL TV Stakes at Flemington during the Cup Carnival and was back to his best in his home state of Tasmania on Sunday to win the Listed Thomas Lyons Stakes.

Hellova Street - Grant CourtneyPlaced in every run since then, the Scott Brunton trained seven year-old scored a popular two length win in the 1400 metre sprint over the favourite Lord Da Vinci.

Retained to race by his breeders, Hellova Street has the overall record of 15 wins and 15 placings from 36 starts with prizemoney topping $840,000.

He is a half-sister to stakes-winner Streetwise Savoire and is from Secret Savings (USA) mare Butter Street, who comes from the family of stakes-winner Kattavia.

Butter Street has a yearling colt by Mawingo (Ger) and was covered last spring by Alpine Eagle.

Hellova Street is one of four stakes-winners for Helike (USA), who died in 2013.
